Supportive Learning for Specialized Primary SEN Tutor in Oxfordshire 2025
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver customized educational support to primary students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Design and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s abilities and specific needs.
- Perform assessments to determine areas for improvement and monitor student progress over time.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to provide comprehensive support for students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that enables students to succeed.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialization in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Prior experience working with primary students who have SEN.
Education:
- Prerequisite: A bachelor’s degree from an educational institution or a closely related discipline.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in an SEN-focused role.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong grasp of SEN strategies and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to alter teaching tactics to fit specific demands of students.
- Skilled in creating engaging and accessible educational materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in SEN.
- Additional training in specific SEN areas, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder or Dyslexia.
