Teaching Personnel is the leading provider of education staffing in the UK, and we are actively seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to fill various roles at Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in Hertfordshire, UK. These positions are available for immediate start or after the appropriate notice period.

We are looking for HLTAs who are ready for their next career move and are open to flexible contract terms, with the potential for permanent roles after a 12-16 week period, provided there is mutual satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

As a SEN HLTA, your daily duties may include:

Assisting students in diverse educational settings, including classrooms, local environments, and community locations, to enhance their learning, growth, and progress across the curriculum.
Providing support to students with a variety of needs, including profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), complex medical conditions, and autism, helping them achieve both academic and personal success.
Fostering equality, inclusivity, and respect, ensuring students are recognized as individuals with unique learning needs.
Focusing on student empowerment and their overall well-being.
Contributing to raising awareness around Special Education needs and upholding the values of the school.
Offering high-quality assistance in all facets of the role.
Participating in physical interventions and personal care routines when necessary.
