Below, we’ve included some frequently asked questions, which we will keep updating to assist you through this transition. While the delivery method may change, your learning experience remains consistent!
Why are we launching a new eLearning platform?
eLearning and online education have advanced quickly in recent years. To deliver the best possible experience for our educators and clients, our new platform offers an updated design, an improved learner journey, and better tracking and reporting features.
When will the new platform be available?
The launch date for the new platform is November 5th. We will keep you informed with regular updates and specific timelines as we get closer to the launch.
Will my existing learner data transfer to the new platform?
Yes, all learner data from the past two years will be securely migrated. If you enrolled in, started, or completed a course within this timeframe, your records will carry over. Courses initiated after July 15th will show as “not started” on the new platform. Records for learners active in the last two years will be accessible. Course data from July 15th to mid-August will be fully updated in mid-September.
How can I access the platform?
Directions and login information will be sent to you via email. The platform is accessible from any modern web browser and optimized for mobile use, so you can easily access it on smartphones and tablets.
What are the main benefits?
The new platform offers a streamlined design, free course options, interactive content, personalized learning paths, and superior multimedia tools. These features make learning more engaging, efficient, and tailored to your needs.
What is the initial login process?
By November 5th, you’ll receive an email with login instructions, including your username. You are need to set an alternate password when you initially log in.
What changes will I notice in the new platform layout?
The new platform has a modern, easy-to-navigate design with improved accessibility features and straightforward progress tracking. We’ll provide guides and tutorials to help you become familiar with the updated layout.
Will I lose my course progress during the transition?
Courses from the past two years will carry over, with some courses previously “started” being reset to “not started.” Historical records will remain accessible for those active in the past two years. Course data from July 15th to mid-August will be updated in September.
Will the courses be more interactive?
Yes, the new platform enhances the learning experience with interactive modules, quizzes, and multimedia elements. Course content will be updated to take advantage of these features.
Can I use my mobile device to access courses?
Absolutely. The new platform is mobile-friendly, allowing seamless access on smartphones and tablets as well as desktop devices.
Will there be any downtime during the transition?
We aim to minimize any downtime. In the event of scheduled maintenance or downtime, we’ll notify you in advance.
Will I still have access to my existing courses?
Yes, all current courses and materials will be transferred to the new platform, allowing continued access to both your current and past courses. Note that any in-progress courses will appear as “not started.”
Is there anything I need to do now?
We recommend logging into the current system to download any certificates for your records. Completion details and certificates will be available in the new format on the new platform. Meanwhile, keep an eye out for updates on this exciting new Educator CPD Academy!
