Supportive and Engaging PPA Educator Role Opportunity in Lancashire
This is a unique opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic educator with experience teaching children from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 2 (KS2). The role requires confidence in supporting students across multiple year groups and a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
Location: Whitworth, Lancashire
Pay: £120 – £140 per day
Full-Time Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and cover a variety of classes throughout the school, including KS1, KS2, and possibly EYFS.
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons.
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and teaching assistants across the school.
- Build strong connections with students as well as employees.
- Ensure consistent quality education in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Be organized, hardworking, and committed to raising academic standards.
- Demonstrate effective classroom and behavior management skills.
- Create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualification, or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) certification.
- Highest commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
- Prior experience in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
