Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery in Nelson (BB9). This well-regarded nursery is committed to providing every child with an exceptional start by creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can play, learn, and grow.

Hourly Rate: £12.90 – £13.50 (before AWR adjustments)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high standard of care and quality throughout the nursery, ensuring the environment, activities, and resources align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
  • Carry out accurate planning and assessment for assigned key children to support their individual developmental needs.
  • Organize, oversee, and participate in activities that promote learning and engagement.
  • Emphasize the security and health of all kids.
  • Report any safeguarding issues to the designated officer immediately.
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment for children, parents, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with parents, caregivers, and the nursery team.
  • Uphold confidentiality where required.
  • Manage staff deployment to ensure that nursery standards are consistently met.
  • Implement the nursery’s key-person system effectively, assigning key children as needed.
